1x4x10' S4S Pine Trim #1 D Grade

After you’re done installing interior wood siding, you will need some trim to cover the edges where the walls meet and at the ceiling and wall boundaries. Our unfinished solid wood (no finger joints!) 1x4 S4S (surfaced/smooth on all 4 sides) Southern Yellow Pine trim is a cost-effective, classic, and beautiful choice. 

#1 D Grade for a few tight (no holes) knots, mostly clear-grain, with solid crisp edges on the corners.

The #1 D Grade Southern Yellow Pine S4S trim features some tight knots (no holes through the boards) for rustic character, and has clean, sharp edges with essentially no wane (areas where the board disappears where the bark was). It is a paint grade and takes a finish very well, and can be clear-coated with polyurethane to maintain its natural bright yellow luster, whitewashed, and receives a variety of stains and finishes very well.
